Kitchen and Bathroom Remodeling in Spokane
Kitchens and bathrooms are the rooms you use every day, and they’re the remodels that take the most coordination. Good Works Solutions LLC remodels kitchens and bathrooms in Spokane, Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Mead, Cheney, Greenacres, Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene. We handle the carpentry, drywall, tile, flooring and paint, so the project comes together as one job.
The company is owned by Daniel Budnik and is licensed, bonded and insured (WA L&I #GOODWWS797KS). Every remodel is backed by a 1-year workmanship warranty.
A Recent Project: Northeast Spokane, Near Hillyard
On a recent remodel in Northeast Spokane near Hillyard, we updated the kitchen with shaker cabinets, quartz-look countertops and a subway tile backsplash. We also installed LVP throughout the house, put in new doors and trim, and updated the bathroom. It’s a good example of how a kitchen project often grows into a whole-house refresh, and why it helps to have one contractor handling the pieces.
What’s Included
Your written estimate lists exactly what’s in your scope. Kitchen and bathroom work we do includes:
- Demolition and haul-away of old cabinets, counters, tile and flooring
- Cabinet installation, including shaker-style and other cabinet lines
- Countertops: we coordinate countertop templating and installation with trusted local fabricators (quartz, granite or laminate)
- Tile backsplashes, tile floors and bathroom tile
- LVP, laminate and tile flooring
- Electrical and plumbing work by licensed electricians and plumbers we bring in and schedule
- Framing changes, such as closing in or adding walls and building out niches
- Drywall repair and replacement, including in damp areas
- Painting walls, ceilings, doors and trim
- New interior doors, casing and baseboard
- Vanity and fixture installation in bathrooms, with a licensed plumber handling the plumbing trim-out (faucets, sinks, drains and valves)
Permits and Licensed Trades
Kitchen and bathroom remodels often involve electrical and plumbing work, and in Washington those trades have their own licensing and permit rules. We bring in licensed electricians and plumbers as part of your project and manage their scheduling, so you have one point of contact. The licensed trade pulls its own permits and coordinates the details of its work with you. In a bathroom, for example, we install the vanity and fixtures, and the plumber handles the trim-out: faucets, sinks, drains and valves. If your plan changes walls or layout, we’ll talk through whether a building permit is likely during your estimate.
How It Works
- 1. Call or text photos. Call (425) 240-5076 or text photos to (425) 240-5076. A few pictures and a short note are usually enough for a ballpark idea of what your remodel involves.
- 2. $35 on-site estimate. If it makes sense to move forward, we schedule a visit to measure and look at the conditions in person. The estimate costs $35, and that fee is credited to your job if you hire us.
- 3. Written estimate. You get the scope, materials and price in writing, so you know exactly what is and isn’t included before anything starts.
- 4. The work. We set up dust protection, demo, then build back in order (framing, drywall, tile and cabinets, counters, flooring, trim and paint), with updates as each stage is done.
- 5. 1-year workmanship warranty. We walk the finished work with you, and our workmanship is covered for one year.

Kitchen and Bathroom Remodeling FAQ
Can I still use my kitchen during the remodel?
It depends on the scope. A backsplash and paint refresh is very different from a full cabinet replacement. We’ll talk through the sequence and how long each room will be out of use when we put your estimate together.
Can I pick my own cabinets, counters and tile?
Yes. Tell us what you have in mind, and we’ll confirm measurements and what’s included in our installation scope before you order anything.
Do you do smaller updates, not just full remodels?
Yes. A new backsplash, new flooring, a vanity swap, new doors and trim or fresh paint can make a big difference without a full gut. Our on-call service and punch-list work is a good fit for a list of small updates.
How much does a kitchen or bathroom remodel cost?
The cost depends on the size of the room, how much is changing, whether plumbing or electrical moves, and the materials you choose. Text photos for a ballpark. The $35 on-site estimate gets you a written price, and the fee is credited to your job if you hire us.
