Drywall Repair in Spokane, Done So You Can’t Find the Patch
A hole from a doorknob, a crack that keeps coming back over a doorway, a ceiling stain from an old leak or a whole basement wall that got wet: drywall problems are some of the most common calls we get. Good Works Solutions LLC repairs, replaces and finishes drywall for homeowners, landlords and businesses across Spokane, Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Mead, Cheney, Greenacres, Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene.
The company is owned by Daniel Budnik and is licensed, bonded and insured (WA L&I #GOODWWS797KS). We handle drywall from the first patch to the final coat of paint, so you aren’t coordinating a drywaller, a texture person and a painter separately.
Recently, we replaced the drywall in a basement in Northwest Spokane. That is the kind of larger job we take on, but we’re just as happy to fix a single damaged wall.
What’s Included
Every job is scoped in writing first, but our drywall work typically covers:
- Small and medium patches: doorknob holes, anchor and TV-mount holes, dents and gouges
- Crack repair at seams, corners and over doors and windows
- Ceiling repairs, including stains and sagging sections after a leak is fixed
- Cutting out and replacing water-damaged drywall once the source is repaired and the area is dry
- Full-room and basement drywall replacement: hang, tape, mud and finish
- New drywall over new framing for added walls, basement finishes and remodels
- Matching your existing texture (orange peel, knockdown and others) as closely as possible
- Prime and paint so the repair disappears, not just the hole
- Corner bead, trim removal and reinstall where the repair requires it
- Protecting floors and furniture and cleaning up the dust when we’re done
Need more than drywall? We also handle interior and exterior painting, flooring and basement remodeling, which is handy after water damage, when the walls and floors often need attention at the same time.
Repair or Replace?
Not every damaged wall needs to come down. Small holes and cracks can usually be patched. Drywall that has swollen, crumbled, sagged or stayed wet for a long time is usually better cut out and replaced. When we look at your wall in person, we’ll tell you which approach fits and why. Our guide, Drywall Repair vs. Replacement, walks through the signs.
How It Works
- 1. Call or text photos. Call (425) 240-5076 or text photos to (425) 240-5076. A few pictures and a short note are usually enough for a ballpark idea of what your drywall repair involves.
- 2. $35 on-site estimate. If it makes sense to move forward, we schedule a visit to measure and look at the conditions in person. The estimate costs $35, and that fee is credited to your job if you hire us.
- 3. Written estimate. You get the scope, materials and price in writing, so you know exactly what is and isn’t included before anything starts.
- 4. The work. We protect the work area, make the repair or replacement, finish and blend it, prime and paint if that’s in the scope, and clean up before we leave.
- 5. 1-year workmanship warranty. We walk the finished work with you, and our workmanship is covered for one year.

Drywall Repair FAQ
Can you give me a price over the phone?
If you text photos, we can often give a ballpark range. A firm price usually needs an on-site look, because hidden damage, texture and access all change the work. The on-site estimate is $35 and is credited to your job if you hire us.
Can you match my existing texture?
Yes. We match existing textures like orange peel and knockdown as closely as possible, and patches blend in very closely. To be honest with you, an exact match on some older textures can’t always be guaranteed, and we’ll tell you up front if yours is one of them. If a wall has been painted many times, painting the whole wall or room is often what makes a repair truly disappear, and we’ll tell you if that’s the case.
My drywall got wet. What should I do first?
Stop the water and get the leak fixed first. Then dry the area as quickly as you can and take photos for your records or insurance. Once it’s dry, text us photos and we’ll help you figure out whether it can be repaired or needs to be replaced.
Do you do small drywall jobs?
Yes. We take single-hole patches as well as whole basements, and we also offer on-call service and punch-list work if you have a list of small repairs around the house.
