Flooring Installation in Spokane: LVP, Laminate and Tile
New floors change how a whole house feels. Good Works Solutions LLC installs luxury vinyl plank (LVP), laminate and tile flooring for homes, rentals and businesses in Spokane, Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Mead, Cheney, Greenacres, Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene.
We’re a remodeling contractor, not a showroom. We focus on the installation and everything around it: removing the old floor, getting the subfloor ready, cutting in clean transitions and putting the trim back so the job looks finished. The company is owned by Daniel Budnik and is licensed, bonded and insured (WA L&I #GOODWWS797KS).
On a recent remodel in Northeast Spokane near Hillyard, we installed LVP throughout the house along with new shaker cabinets, a subway tile backsplash, new doors and trim, and a bathroom update.
What’s Included
- LVP installation in kitchens, living areas, bedrooms, basements and rentals
- Laminate flooring installation
- Tile floors, plus tile backsplashes and bathroom tile as part of a remodel
- Removing and hauling away your old flooring
- Subfloor prep: checking for flatness, fixing problem spots and repairing damaged sections

- Transitions between rooms and between different floor types
- Baseboard and shoe molding removal and reinstall, or new trim
- Painting baseboards and trim to finish the room

You’re welcome to supply your own flooring, or we can help you choose it. Either way, we’ll go over the material at the estimate. That way you know what is included before anything is ordered.
Why Prep Matters
Most flooring problems, like gaps, clicking, bouncing or cracked tile, come from what’s underneath. A good installation starts with the subfloor. During the on-site estimate, we look at the condition of the floor you have now, how many layers are down and how the rooms connect, because all of that affects the price and the result.
How It Works
- 1. Call or text photos. Call (425) 240-5076 or text photos to (425) 240-5076. A few pictures and a short note are usually enough for a ballpark idea of what your flooring involves.
- 2. $35 on-site estimate. If it makes sense to move forward, we schedule a visit to measure and look at the conditions in person. The estimate costs $35, and that fee is credited to your job if you hire us.
- 3. Written estimate. You get the scope, materials and price in writing, so you know exactly what is and isn’t included before anything starts.
- 4. The work. We move or work around furniture as agreed, remove the old floor, prep the subfloor, install the new flooring and trim, and clean up.
- 5. 1-year workmanship warranty. We walk the finished work with you, and our workmanship is covered for one year.

Flooring FAQ
Is LVP a good choice for Spokane homes?
LVP is popular in kitchens, basements, rentals and busy households because it handles spills and wear well. Tile is a strong choice for bathrooms and entries. We’ll talk through the options for each room.
Can I supply my own flooring?
Yes. Tell us what you’re planning to buy, and we’ll check how much you need and confirm what’s included in our installation price.
Do you remove the old floor?
Yes. We remove and haul away the old flooring, and it’s listed in your written estimate so there are no surprises.
How long does a flooring job take?
It depends on the square footage, the subfloor condition and how many rooms and transitions there are. You’ll get a schedule with your written estimate.
